We highly recommend spaying or neutering for a pet if there is no intention for them to breed. This may also be done to eliminate concerns of ovarian, uterine or mammary cancer, or prostate problems in later life.
This is a day surgery, so your pet will come in in the morning and gets to go home at night. If for any reason your pet hasn’t recovered enough to leave at the end of the day, we will coordinate its transfer to an overnight facility.
Please note, we usually recommend a dog or cat be six months old before they undergo this routine procedure.
