Veronique
Registered Veterinary Technologist
Véronique, who also goes by Ronnie, grew up in Grand-Falls, New-Brunswick and moved to Alberta with her family in 2012. She graduated from NAIT with a diploma in Biological Sciences - Renewable Resources in 2018, and transferred to the University of Alberta where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental and Conservation Sciences in 2020. Wanting more hands-on experience with animal care and rehabilitation, she attended the Veterinary Technology program at NAIT and graduated in 2025. She joined the Erin Ridge team in June of 2025 after completing her practicum at the clinic. Véronique is fluent in both French and English and is happy to assist clients in both languages.
She has worked with many types of animals during her biology career, including bats, fish, birds, and toads, and is excited to care for animals of all species. Her favourite part of working in veterinary medicine is bonding with patients and learning new things every day.
Véronique loves volunteering with the Canadian Animal Blood Bank in her free time and has two dogs, Henry and Mabel, who are both blood donors through the organization. She also enjoys cuddling with her cat Rufus, playing with her band, attending local concerts, watching horror movies, and going camping, birding, hiking, and exploring with her partner and two dogs.
